Lab 7

This shot helped me think creatively as I stood in one spot and took a multitude of different shots. This helped me to think of every angle I could take a picture of until I settled on taking a straight down shot of my shoes.

For this exercise I took many many photos of the same object in different scenes/positions until I found this bald spot in the grass. I think the ring around the object helps emphasise it and draw our attention towards it more.

This exercise had to do with placing restrictions on myself. When I took this shot I had decided to take as many different overexposed shots as I could. I liked this one because you can see the sun shining through the trees which blurs the edges, as well as giving a nice contrast to the darker trees.

This is a recreation of the creation of Adam, which is a famous painting. Corey (left) is portraying god, while Cain (right) is Adam.

I took a little over 10 different angles, exposures and poses until I landed on a scene I liked. I like how offset the image is, as we can see the person and mountain on the right are a lot bigger and more dominant in the image than the one on the left.

For this one I placed the sign in all 4 corners of the camera until I settled on this one. I like having it at the right top because naturally our eyes scan images from left to right so I like it being present in the image and also being the last thing you lay eyes on.
