Colour Changing lab 09

For all these pairs of images I shot them all in different white balances. In photoshop I changed them. I did things like fix the exposure, add more vibrancy and contrast to the image as well as tweak them to how I want them to look.

Lab 7

This shot helped me think creatively as I stood in one spot and took a multitude of different shots. This helped me to think of every angle I could take a picture of until I settled on taking a straight down shot of my shoes. For this exercise I took many many photos of the same object in different scenes/positions until I found this bald spot in the grass. This image displays leading lines that pull the attention into the photo. There is also a dominance of one object over the other. I attempted to use the rule of eighths where the person on the lefts face, the side of the person on the right and the grass horizon line all match up with the guideline for the rule of eighths. The H pole also winds up in the centre of everything. The winding road is giving a slow motion that pulls your attention towards the horizon line. The horizon line and the pole on the left also match up with the rule of thirds. This image captures dominance of one object drawing more attention than the other and having more presence in the image. This image is capturing offset where there's more to one side of the image than to the other. this image has a centre line where the image can be cut down the middle and be symmetrical.
